Typically, a medium sized contractor will have a;

Turnover of up to £10,000,000 - Contractors All Risks

Total Value of up to £1,000,000 - Own Plant (items > £100,000 to be individually scheduled)

Up to £1,500,000 - Hiring Charge

Values in excess of the above can be considered upon review
